WOODCARVINGS AND UNIQUE PIECES
When I was living in NYC people would come to the studio to purchase work, primarily prints. They would often express interest in buying my woodblocks that I would print from. Around 2002 I started carving blocks, then painting and finishing them as pieces. In addition I started making collage print panels and 3D pieces covered in prints like masks. All of the carvings below are done by hand with a V-notch chisel on wood.
